How It’s Made
Soil Composition
The ideal soil composition to produce the bricks is sandy soil with a clay content of 30% and soil content of 70%. If the clay content is too high in the soil, then sand is added to achieve the desired proportion.

Normal clay bricks are known as the best material to keep the house cooler compared to concrete based products. Now, with even MORE clay (soil) volume compressed - making the brick denser creating a better thermal mass of the house. Concrete and cement cause chemical hydration reaction which in turn produces heat. While in ours we use less cement and concrete for IB material hence resulting in a much cooler house.
